Hi there! I’m Anand Vardhan.

I am a robotics engineer and researcher working across autonomous systems, perception, and mechanical design. My work connects hardware, embedded systems, and software to build systems that are technically grounded and practically testable.

I am especially interested in robotics problems at the boundary between kinematics, control, and deployment.

  • Working on a visual-inertial navigation stack for a custom unmanned aerial vehicle, drawing on research in estimation and perception.

Robotics (Simulation) Engineer Intern

  • Explored rigid-body dynamics and control strategies for a cable-driven soft-robotic mechanism using physics-based simulation tools.
  • Compared simulation outputs against expected behavior to improve model assumptions and better match real conditions.

  • Worked on kinematic and dynamic modeling for a hexapod amphibious robot in an environmental robotics project.
